2. Eligibility & Age Restrictions

For alcohol and other age-restricted items, you confirm that:

  • delivery may be refused if age verification fails.

We reserve the right to cancel any order that does not meet legal age requirements.

6. Product Accuracy & Information

We make every effort to ensure product descriptions, images, nutritional information, allergen details and date information are accurate. However:

  • packaging may vary due to manufacturer updates
  • stock levels may change
  • prices may change
  • errors may occur

If a product description or price is incorrect, we may cancel the order and issue a refund.

 

7. Food Products – Legal Requirements

Perishable food and drink items are not eligible for the 14-day change-of-mind cancellation period under the UK Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013.

7.1 Food Order Cancellation Before Dispatch

Food orders may only be cancelled before dispatch.
Once dispatched, food orders cannot be cancelled due to taste, preference, or ordering mistakes.

7.2 Food Order Issues

We will issue a refund or replacement if:

  • the product is damaged in transit
  • the incorrect item is received
  • items are missing
  • the product significantly does not match its description
    (excluding items clearly sold as short-dated, near BBD, “Good to Go”, or “Best Before passed”)

7.3 Best Before Dates

  • Most products use Best Before (BBD) dates, relating to quality, not safety.
  • Food is safe to consume after the BBD.
  • Products sold as short-dated, near BBD, Good to Go, or BBD passed cannot be refunded due to the date.

7.4 Use By Dates

If a product legally requires a Use By date (e.g., fresh foods) and arrives past that date, we will issue a full refund.

within 7 days, with your order number and clear photos.

7.5 Ingredient & Allergen Responsibility

Customers must check ingredient and allergen information before consumption.
We are not liable for allergic reactions, intolerances, or dietary sensitivities.

7.6 Storage Responsibility

Customers are responsible for proper storage after delivery.
We are not liable for deterioration, spoilage, or quality issues caused by improper storage or delayed opening.

 

8. Delivery, Risk & Undeliverable Orders

Risk transfers to you once the courier confirms successful delivery to the address provided.

We are not responsible for delays caused by:

  • couriers
  • weather conditions
  • strikes
  • customs processes
  • force majeure events

Undeliverable or Returned Orders

If an order is returned due to:

  • an incorrect or incomplete address
  • repeated failed delivery attempts
  • refusal to accept the parcel

We can reship the order once additional postage is paid.

Perishable items are non-refundable in these circumstances.

For non-perishable goods, original shipping costs are non-refundable and will be deducted from any refund.

Third-party tools and external links are provided “as is”.
We are not responsible for:

  • losses arising from their use

To the fullest extent permitted by UK law, our total liability to you shall not exceed the amount paid for your order.

  • courier delays
  • allergic reactions
  • personal sensitivity to spicy food
  • misuse or improper preparation of food
  • deterioration caused by improper storage after delivery
  • losses resulting from delayed consumption
  • reliance on inaccurate or incomplete information not provided by us

We do not exclude liability for:

  • liabilities that cannot be limited under UK law
